If I were a more arrogant and self-absorbed person unaware of the actual role I am meant to play, I would say he simply exists to cause trouble for me.

But its more likely that he doesn't know how to do anything but cause trouble even if he wished to do otherwise. So of course he had to trick you.

Hm. Perhaps if I see him again, I can make an effort to teach him how to cause less inconveniencing trouble then. If not for him solely, then for the sake of your sanity.

And my role is simple. I was and am still to be the handmaiden of the goddess Hela, the Queen of the Dead, of another series of Nine Realms much different from these. At the appropriate time, my existence was to cease, in order to heal my mistress's wound and return the hand that was severed from her to her body. Prior to coming here, I had just fulfilled this purpose.

It is debatable whether or not I can truly be said to have existed in the first place. But that is essentially correct. Insomuch as I did, I do not exist any longer.
